Nine sensors, one calm grower

“Kontrol kapanpun, monitor dimanapun.” Control any time, monitor anywhere. Sensors do the watching so that people can do the harvesting.

What the sensors do

According to Akar, each unit carries nine sensors that "make everything automatic, from watering the plants to injecting plant nutrition" (MIT Solve, 2023). The readings run through Raspberry Pi and WeMos microcontroller boards, which trigger pumps and dosing.

The 2024 site lists "IOT to 9 monitors AKAR Units" for both the fullstack leafy and fullstack fruit products.

Typical parameters in a hydroponic unit

Akar did not publish the exact list of its nine sensors. These are the parameters indoor hydroponic systems commonly track, and why each one matters.

Air temperature & humidity

Drive transpiration and disease risk.

Water temperature

Warm water holds less dissolved oxygen.

pH

Controls how available each nutrient is to the roots.

EC / TDS

Shows nutrient-solution strength.

Water level & flow

Keeps pumps safe and roots wet.

Light

Confirms the photoperiod the LEDs deliver.

Client to provide · Sensor list & app screenshots

Please confirm the nine sensors used and provide screenshots of the Akar monitoring app. The original site showed App Store and Google Play badges, but the store links were not recoverable.
