What "AB Mix" means
Hydroponic growers usually keep nutrients in two concentrates. Part A typically carries calcium, while part B carries phosphates and sulphates. Kept apart, they cannot react and settle out as insoluble salts; mixed into the reservoir water they give plants a complete feed. Strength is tracked with an EC or TDS meter.
